I know what this looks like in real life. Some one close to me ended up in the hospital from not wanting to eat. She never had to wear one of those tubes when she was there but I remember visiting her and seeing it on other patients and through the nose as well. It was a sad thing to behold...

yeah, a lot of things in hospitals can be quite sad, but if a person cant or wont eat from whatever reason it is ultimately a good thing to happen, it definitely is a good thing overall for him. hes down to a small 'button' for the long term.

This looks uncannily like a close friend of mine that I met in a hospital. He had similar pants and hair and the "tube."
But yes, nice drawing. I especially like the hands.
